Parking Spot Dispute Escalates to Robbery in the Bronx, Police Seek Suspect

NEW YORK, NY – A seemingly innocuous disagreement over a parking spot turned violent on March 30, 2023, in the Bronx. A 47-year-old male victim became engaged in a verbal dispute with an unknown male at the corner of Nelson Avenue and West 166th Street.

The suspect then removed an unknown object from his vehicle and struck the victim in his arm, causing the victim’s iPhone 12 to fall to the ground. The suspect subsequently took the victim’s cellphone and fled the scene in a white Infiniti.

The victim sustained minor pain to his arm and refused medical attention at the scene. The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect and encourages anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
