Teen charged for breaking and entering, theft at multiple NYC schools

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An 18-year-old male, Kayden Hamlet, has been arrested and charged with burglary in connection to a school burglary pattern that occurred in the 40, 41, and 42 Precincts in the Bronx.

According to police reports, the suspect and an unknown accomplice forcibly entered schools and removed calculators, causing thousands of dollars in damage and loss.

Other suspects are still at large.

The individuals are described as males, approximately 15 to 18.

The police are still seeking information about the unknown accomplice and encourage anyone with information to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or log onto the Crime Stoppers website.
