Two New Jersey winners announced in Powerball lottery

TRENTON, NJ – Two winning lower-tier tickets were sold in New Jersey for last night’s Powerball drawing.

The two lucky individuals won a $50,000 second-tier prize in the latest Powerball drawing held on Wednesday, April 12.

The New Jersey Lottery announced that the winning tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball number. The two tickets were purchased at the Shoprite of Sewell in Gloucester County and Riverview Exxon in Somerset County.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, April 12, drawing were 09, 36, 41, 44, and 59, with the Red Power Ball number being 04. The Power Play was 2X. Out of the 20,047 participants from New Jersey, an estimated $104,533 worth of prizes ranging from $4 to $200 were won.

With no jackpot winner, the Powerball jackpot for the next drawing, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 15 at 10:59 pm, has rolled over to an estimated $219,000,000.
