Newark Police Seek Assistance Locating Woman Wanted for Questioning in Shooting Incident

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Dominique Stubbs, 37, of Newark, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on April 6, 2023.

Police responded to a call of shots fired at around 8:35 p.m. in the 800 block of South 11th Street. Upon arrival, they found six shell casings and a victim who had been shot by someone in a burgundy-colored sedan.

Stubbs is described as 4’11” and 161 pounds with brown eyes, black hair, and a dark complexion. Fragé urges anyone with information on Stubbs’ whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
