BUFFALO, NY – A Buffalo man was injured during a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday night, according to police.

The Buffalo Police Department reports that the 35-year-old man arrived at Erie County Medical Center just after midnight with a gunshot wound, but his injuries were deemed non-life threatening and he is expected to recover.

Detectives suspect that the shooting might have happened near Northumberland Avenue.

The victim’s identity has not been disclosed, and it is unclear whether he was the intended target of the shooting or a bystander.

No arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact the confidential TIPCALL line at 716-847-2255.
