Carlisle Man Charged with Domestic Violence and Assault

CARLISLE, PA – On Sunday, Maxwell Miskin was charged with domestic violence-related simple assault after allegedly assaulting a victim in the 100 block of W South Street in Carlisle, PA. The Carlisle Police Department received the report of the assault on Saturday at approximately 4:32 am, with the victim suffering a minor injury to the face as a result of the assault.

Miskin turned himself in to the Carlisle Police several hours after the incident, and he was arraigned on the charge.

The department urges anyone who is a victim of domestic violence or who knows of someone who is being abused to come forward and report the abuse.

The Carlisle Police Department reminded residents it has a Domestic Violence Unit that can provide support and resources to victims of domestic violence. The department also works closely with other agencies to ensure that victims receive the help and support they need.
