Police express concern after sisters go missing in Silver Spring

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing teenage sisters from Silver Spring.

Ashley Yarel Ramirez Espinoza, age 14, and Camila Raquel Maldonado Ramirez, age 12, were last seen on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at approximately 7 p.m., in the 3700 block of Bel Pre Rd.

Ashley is approximately 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 105 pounds. She has black eyes and black shoulder length hair. It is unknown what she was last seen wearing.

Camila is approximately 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 105 pounds. She has brown eyes and long black hair. It is unknown what she was last seen wearing. Police and family are concerned for their welfare.
