82-year-old man attacked by woman with cane, robbed of $10

NEW YORK, NY – Crime in New York ranges from dangerous and deadly to absurd as crime goes unchecked in the city court system.

Last Monday, a crime was committed that falls into the absurd and sad categories.

The New York City Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a female suspect in connection with a robbery that occurred in the Bronx.

The victim, an 82-year-old man, was knocked down to the ground and robbed of $10 by the unidentified female, who was walking with a cane at the time of the incident.

The robbery occurred at approximately 4:10 pm, inside 700 Exterior Street. The victim sustained a head laceration and was transported to Lincoln Hospital by EMS.
