Police offer $25,000 reward in Hyattsville shooting investigation.

HYATTSVILLE, MD –Hyattsville police are actively investigating the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Rudy Perez Gutierrez in the unincorporated section of Hyattsville.

On Friday, at approximately 5:15 pm, officers responded to the 2100 block of Guilford Road after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Gutierrez and another victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Perez Gutierrez was pronounced deceased on the scene, while the second victim suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
