Chambersburg Man Arrested for Multiple Assaults against Women

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – Jeffrey Andrew Stine was arrested after assaulting four women in the 100 block of Greene Meadow Lane. Among the victims was a 94-year-old woman, whose residence Stine unlawfully entered and attempted to sexually assault.

The elderly woman suffered a brain bleed, facial fractures, and a broken femur as a result of the attack. Stine also assaulted three other women, causing severe injuries.

Stine was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit rape, burglary, indecent assault, four counts of simple assault, and additional charges for resisting arrest and assaulting a Chambersburg Police Department officer. Stine is currently incarcerated at the Franklin County Jail awaiting trial.
