Easton Police Arrest Man Wanted for Assault

EASTON, PA – On Thursday, Easton Police officers responded to a report of a wanted person on the 1200 block of Spring Garden Street. Upon arrival, they arrested 27-year-old Robert Rivers, who was wanted on an active warrant issued by the Nazareth Police Department for simple assault.

Rivers was taken into custody without incident and later transferred to Nazareth Police.

Details about the specific charges against Rivers and the circumstances leading to the arrest warrant have not been released.
