North Carolina Woman Arrested for Chalfant Borough Stabbing

CHALFANT BOROUGH, PA – In the early hours of Saturday, County 9-1-1 received a call regarding a stabbing incident in the 200 block of North Avenue in Chalfant Borough. First responders found an adult male with a stab wound to his back.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition and has since been released.

Forest Hills Police requested assistance from the Allegheny County Police General Investigations Unit, and detectives initiated an investigation.

Police learned that the stabbing occurred during an altercation at a residence, and the offender was known to the victim. After investigating the incident along with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, detectives arrested Alisa Turner, 50, of North Carolina, on charges of aggravated assault.

Turner was transported to the Allegheny County Jail Saturday morning for arraignment. She has since posted the $5,000 bond and been released.
