Philadelphia Police Investigating Bru Bar Break-In

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A recent break-in at Bru Bar, located at 1318 Chestnut Street, has prompted the Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division to seek the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved.

The incident occurred on April 12, 2023, at approximately 4:15 am, when two unknown males forcefully entered the bar by throwing a rock through the glass door.

Once inside, the suspects proceeded to steal numerous bottles of liquor and damage the cash registers before making their escape in an unknown direction.

The Central Detective Division has released descriptions and video clips of the suspects on the Philadelphia Police YouTube Channel and their official website. Members of the public with any information are encouraged to contact 911 or submit a tip at 215.686.TIPS (8477), with all tips being kept confidential.
