Police seeking suspect wanted for attempted carjacking at MGM National Harbor

OXON HILL, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Carjacking Interdiction Unit is working to identify the suspects involved in an attempted armed carjacking this morning, in Oxon Hill. The victim was not injured during the incident, which took place at approximately 3:00 AM in the parking garage at the MGM National Harbor.

According to the preliminary investigation, one of the suspects approached the victim and demanded his vehicle at gunpoint. A physical struggle ensued between the victim and the suspect, during which the suspect’s gun fired one round. No one was struck. The suspect then returned to the car he arrived in and fled the area. The victim’s vehicle was not stolen.
