Teen Charged for Robbing 12-year-old Girl Inside Brooklyn Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY – A 17-year-old male has been arrested today and charged in connection with a grand larceny incident at the Cortelyou Road subway station in Brooklyn. The incident occurred on Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 3:10 pm when a 12-year-old female exited a northbound Q train.

The unidentified individual removed a wallet and money from the victim’s bag before fleeing on foot to parts unknown. Following an ongoing investigation, the teenager was arrested and now faces charges of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
