Wanted Fugitive Stephon Brown Arrested by York City Police with Guns and Drugs

YORK, PA – Yesterday, York City Police Department Patrol Division arrested Stephon Brown, one of the department’s most wanted, during a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle.

Brown attempted to flee on foot, but officers were able to apprehend him in the 200 block of Kurtz Avenue.

During the chase, Brown discarded a white drawstring bag containing large amounts of various drugs, drug packaging materials, and a digital scale. Officers also recovered a loaded Glock Model 43 (9mm) from Brown’s waistband and a large amount of cash from his pocket. Brown resisted arrest and attempted to escape custody, but was quickly subdued.

Brown has been charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver drugs, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, evading, escape, persons not to possess firearms, and carrying a firearm without a license.

He is currently awaiting trial on these charges, as well as his numerous outstanding felony gun and drug charges.
