17-year-old beaten and robbed by group in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – A 17-year-old male victim was beaten and robbed by a group of four suspects earlier this month. On Thursday, the NYPD released photos of the suspects wanted for the assault.

According to the NYPD, an unknown individual entered a bodega located at 793 Utica Avenue and argued with a 17-year-old male.

That suspect then punched the victim in the face before two other individuals joined in, punching and kicking the victim repeatedly. A fourth suspect then took the victim’s property, including his cell phone and an undisclosed amount of money, before the group fled the scene in a black Chevrolet SUV heading northbound on Utica Avenue.

The victim, who suffered no serious injuries, described the first individual as a male with a medium complexion who was around 5’10” tall and weighed 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and red and yellow sneakers.

The second suspect was described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 6’1″ tall, and 200 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers. The third individual was described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 5’7″ tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers. The fourth individual was described as a female with a medium complexion, approximately 5’2″ tall and 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black and gray sneakers.
