22-year-old man narrowly escapes shooting after argument in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in an attempted assault within the 75 Precinct on April 6, 2023. Around 9:00 PM, a 22-year-old victim had a verbal dispute with an unknown male near the intersection of Crescent Street and Glen Street.

The unidentified male slapped the victim in the face then displayed a firearm and fired one round in the direction of the victim. The unknown individual fled the location in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described as a male approximately 20 to 25 years of age with a medium complexion, approximately 6’2” tall, and large build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers. Media depicting the individual is attached and available at DCPI.
