D.C. Shooting Leaves 25-Year-Old Man Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch is investigating a homicide last night in Northwest, D.C.

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Rhode Island Avenue shortly after 11 pm to investigate a report of an unconscious person. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male gunshot victim. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

25-year-old Raymond Carter III, of D.C., was identified as the victim.
