D.C. Shooting Leaves Man Injured

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened last night in Northeast D.C.

At approximately 11:30 pm, officers responded to the 3800 block of Jay Street to investigate a shooting report. At the location, police found an adult man shot in the armpit. The victim was conscious and breathing when police found him. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
