PITTSBURGH, PA – A man wanted for an assault on a 14-year-old girl since 2022 has been tracked down by police

Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus announced today the arrest of 27-year-old Zachary Kelly from Bridgeville for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in March 2022.

Kelly faces multiple charges, including indecent assault and corruption of minors. Earlier this month, Allegheny County Police filed charges against Kelly following the victim’s report. Detectives received information that Kelly might be hiding in Washington County, leading them to an abandoned house in Canton Township where they arrested him.

Kelly initially resisted but was quickly taken into custody. In addition to the assault charges, Kelly has an active warrant in Upshur County, West Virginia, for grand larceny and destruction of property, leading to a fugitive from justice charge upon his return to Allegheny County Jail.
