NYPD Seeks Public’s Assistance in Identifying Shooter Involved in Brooklyn Assault

BROOKLYN, NY – Detectives with the NYPD are continuing their investigation into a shooting in Brooklyn last weekend and are now asking the public for assistance.

The incident occurred on Sunday, at approximately 10:30 pm, near the intersection of East 98th Street and Clarkson Avenue in the East Flatbush neighborhood.

The assailant, who remains unidentified, fired multiple shots at a group of people standing outside. A 28-year-old male and a 29-year-old female were struck by gunfire, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Witnesses described the suspect as a male, approximately 20 to 25 years of age, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
