Two charged in 2021 carjacking case in Rockville

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Police have announced the arrest of two suspects wanted for a carjacking that took place in 2021 in Rockville.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have charged Mateo Paredes-Vincent, 19, and Havanna Holland-Miller, 20, in connection with a November 2021 attempted carjacking in Rockville.

Through a thorough investigation, detectives identified Paredes-Vincent of Washington, D.C. and Holland-Miller of Southbridge, MA as the suspects in the carjacking.

Paredes-Vincent is currently in jail in Alachua, Florida on unrelated charges, while Holland-Miller is in custody in Massachusetts.

Both suspects are awaiting extradition to Montgomery County to face attempted armed carjacking charges.
