PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA – Tony Ngo, 35, was convicted yesterday for ethnic intimidation and harassment after targeting an AT&T employee with a racist rant and pulling a gun on him. Judge Stephen A. Corr sentenced Ngo to two years of probation and 50 hours of community service and ordered no contact with the victim or the AT&T store. Ngo’s firearm will be held pending a forfeiture motion.

The incident occurred on September 26, 2022, at the Cross Keys Place shopping center when Ngo’s wife became frustrated with the employee over a cellphone transaction. As they left the store, Ngo directed a racial slur at the employee and threatened him with a gun.

A witness at the scene corroborated the events and commended the employee for remaining calm throughout the ordeal.
