Three shot Friday night in Trenton

TRENTON, NJ – Police are searching for an unidentified shooter who fired multiple rounds in a Trenton neighborhood, leaving three victims injured overnight. The incident took place near 269 Hamilton Avenue. A ShotSpotter device, designed to detect gunfire, was activated and alerted police to the shooting around 10:30 pm on Friday.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. They were immediately rushed to a local hospital for treatment, where they are now listed in stable condition. The suspect, who has not been identified, fled the scene and remains at large.

The victims’ identities were not released by police.
