SYRACUSE, NY – The Syracuse Police Department’s ATV and dirt bike detail has been cracking down on illegal dirt bike and ATV activity across the city.

As part of their ongoing efforts, officers recently seized four dirt bikes, two mini bikes, and one motorbike with switched plates.

The department has recently adopted a zero-tolerance stance regarding illegal off-road vehicles and will continue to run the detail throughout the summer months.

Operators of these illegal vehicles face arrest and charges, including a $500 fine for first-time offenses and significant redemption fees. The Syracuse Police Department would like to thank the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office for their partnership and the use of Air One in their operations.
