17-year-old shot and killed in Brooklyn

NEW YORK – A 17-year-old male was fatally stabbed inside a building on Quincy Street on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, according to police.

Officers responded to a 911 call at around 3:53 pm and found the victim with multiple stab wounds to the torso. The victim was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.

A person of interest has been taken into custody and a knife was found on the scene. The name of the victim is being withheld until family members are notified. The investigation is ongoing.
