29-Year-Old Shot In The Back In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A 29-year-old man was shot Sunday evening in Southwest Baltimore.

Officers from the Baltimore Police Department were conducting patrols at the 2600 Block of Wilkens Avenue shortly before 7 pm when a driver pulled over and drew their attention. According to the driver, there was an individual in their car who had been shot. Officers found a 29-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.

According to the initial investigation, the victim’s shooting was reportedly carried out by a familiar suspect while he was located at the 2600 block of Dulaney Street.
