COLUMBUS, OH – A 20-year-old man, Hassan Abdalla, has been charged with murder in connection to a shooting that took the life of Said Arbo, 21, in west Columbus yesterday.
Abdalla turned himself in to the Columbus Police Department following the shooting, which occurred inside an apartment located on the 700 block of Wedgewood Drive. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
Homicide detectives are currently examining the evidence and reviewing the statements made by the suspect following his arrest.
They are working diligently to piece together the events leading up to the fatal shooting and to determine a motive for the crime.
