JEFFERSON HILLS, PA – On Sunday, at approximately 4:10 p.m., County 9-1-1 received a call reporting two people shot in the 3000 block of Siler Drive in Jefferson Hills. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a third shooting victim.

The victims, two adult males and one adult female, were transported to area hospitals. One adult male was pronounced deceased, while the other male and female remain in critical condition.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit are investigating the incident. Preliminary findings suggest that an argument occurred in the front yard of a residence between the deceased adult male and residents of the home, leading to an exchange of gunfire.

All individuals involved were detained and interviewed by detectives, and there is no danger to the community. Detectives are working with the District Attorney’s office to determine culpability.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is urged to call the Allegheny County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS (1-833-255-8477); callers can remain anonymous.
