Cumberland woman charged for theft

CUMBERLAND, MD – Candice Larae Mallow, a 42-year-old Cumberland resident, was served a criminal summons by the Cumberland Police Department on Monday. The summons was issued as a result of a theft report that was filed on April 17, 2023. The alleged victim reported that items were stolen from his residence in the 400 block of Columbia Street.

Following an investigation, Mallow was identified as the suspect in the theft case. Police filed charges against her at the District Court of Allegany County.

Mallow was charged with 4th-degree burglary theft and theft valued between $100 to $1,500. She has signed for her copy of the summons and was released pending trial.
