Oxford man charged after beating victim inside parked car

OXFORD, PA – On Saturday, at 8:02 am, the Oxford Police Department received a call regarding a disturbance at the intersection of Wheeler Blvd and N 4th Street.

Upon arrival, the victim reported that 38-year-old Robert Arrowood of Oxford had approached them while they were seated in their vehicle and proceeded to punch them.

The victim managed to drive away, but not before Arrowood broke off their side mirror and caused damage to other nearby vehicles.

Arrowood was arrested by OPD officers and transported to Central Booking for arraignment. He faces one count of simple assault and three additional charges related to the incident.
