16-Year-Old Charged with Armed Carjacking in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department detectives have reported making an arrest in connection with an Armed Carjacking incident that happened on Tuesday at the 2100 block of 18th Street in Southeast D.C.

Just before 5:30 pm, the suspects came out of a car and went over to the victim, who was seated in a vehicle. One of the suspects drew a firearm and asked for the victim’s car. The victim agreed, and the suspects drove off with the victim’s car.

 A 16-year-old male from D.C. was arrested on Tuesday and charged with Armed Carjacking.
