Chicago Man Charged with First-Degree Murder

Chicago, IL – Christopher Haynes, 34, of the 3500 block of W. Van Buren, was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on April 26.

Haynes was identified as the second offender involved in the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old male while he was driving in the 500 block of W. 95th St. on August 12, 2022.

Haynes was charged with one felony count of first-degree murder and appeared in Central Bond Court on April 27, 2023. No additional information regarding the case was available at the time of the report.
