Man charged for assault of 26-year-old

Chicago, IL – John Williams, 43, was charged with one felony count of robbery and one felony count of aggravated battery that caused great bodily harm to a 26-year-old male victim. Williams was arrested on April 26, in the 3100 block of W. Harrison and was identified as the perpetrator who robbed and battered the victim on April 7, 2023, in the 1100 block of S. Sacramento in the 11th District.

Williams was taken into custody and subsequently appeared in Central Bond Court.

The court heard the charges against him, and no additional information was provided regarding the case.

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, suffered severe injuries from the attack.
