Allegheny County Police Investigate Shooting in Duquesne

DUQUESNE, PA – At approximately 12:25 am today, Allegheny County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 200 block of Wilmot Street. First responders found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in Duquesne and initiated an investigation into the incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with information concerning this shooting to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
