WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last night, a 27-year-old man was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. The D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating this homicide.
Just after 10 pm, officers arrived at the 4200 block of 4th Street to investigate a report of a shooting. Officers found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
27-year-old Deandre Wheeler of D.C. was identified as the victim.
