Juvenile shot in Lancaster, police investigating.

LANCASTER, PA – On Thursday night, multiple gunshots were reported in Lancaster City, leading to an injured juvenile. Lancaster Bureau of Police received reports of gunshots in the 200 block of S. Ann Street after officers patrolling the area heard the gunfire. Evidence of shots fired was found in the 600 block of S. Plum Street.

At 9:11 pm, a report came in about an injured juvenile in the 400 block of S. Ann Street. Initially believed to be from a fall, it was later discovered that the minor’s wound was caused by a gunshot. The victim received medical treatment and was released.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police do not consider it a random act. Police noted that the victim was uncooperative and the Lancaster Bureau of Police encourages anyone with information to contact Detective Adam Flurry.
