OCEAN COUNTY, NJ – Michelle Roselli, 36, of Spotsylvania County, Virginia, entered a guilty plea on Wednesday, to charges of Vehicular Homicide, Assault by Auto, and Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in relation to a tragic crash on the Garden State Parkway on January 26, 2020.

The incident claimed the life of Tri Nguyen, 66, and left Thuy Duong, 51, with severe injuries. Both victims were residents of Berkeley Township.

During the court proceedings, the prosecution presented evidence showing that Roselli’s reckless actions and impaired driving led to the collision.

The State will seek a six-year prison term for the Vehicular Homicide charge and a concurrent five-year term for the Assault by Auto charge during Roselli’s sentencing hearing, scheduled for July 14, 2023.
