One person shot and killed early Sunday morning in Cockeysville

Cockeysville, MD – An investigation into a fatal shooting is currently underway in the area of Cranbrook Road and Halesworth Road in Cockeysville.

Baltimore County police officers responded to the scene at approximately 4:55 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a victim with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting. At this time, no suspects have been identified, and the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
