FAIRFIELD, NJ – A high-speed chase in Fairfield ended when a stolen vehicle driven by Jessy Sainteloi, 25, of Uniondale, ran out of gas near Route 23.

Police said they initiated a traffic stop after noticing Sainteloi’s Acura ILX driving erratically, weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed.

The driver then tried to flee police with speeds in excess of over 100 miles per hour.

Santeloi’s driving became dangerous as he began driving against oncoming traffic. At that time, police backed off due to public safety risks.

He was then spotted stopped on a service road near Route 23 and arrested after the stolen vehicle ran out of gas.

Nobody was injured during the pursuit.
