15-year-old reported missing in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Special Victims Unit (SVU) is seeking the public’s assistance in finding 15-year-old Lanie Holtzapple, who has been reported missing. Holtzapple was last seen in the evening of April 29, 2023, on Knox Avenue. She is a new resident of Pittsburgh, and there is a possibility that she may be heading back to her previous home in Northumberland County, PA.

Holtzapple is described as a white female, 5’4″ tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt and green sweatpants.

Police and her family are concerned for her safety and well-being, and they are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. If anyone has seen or heard from Lanie Holtzapple, they are requested to call the Pittsburgh Police Special Victims Unit at (412) 323-7141 or dial 9-1-1. All information provided will be kept confidential.
