North Jersey weather report for Monday and Tuesday

NEWARK, NJ – Here’s your 24-hour weather report for North Jersey for Monday and Tuesday. A chance of showers and unsettled weather are expected for the next couple of days in the area, prompting residents to grab an umbrella or raincoat before heading out.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), there is a 30% chance of showers after 3pm on Monday, May 1st, with partly sunny skies and a high near 60 degrees. Southwest winds around 15 mph are also expected.

As night falls, the chance of showers increases to 40%, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 46 degrees. South winds between 6 to 10 mph are forecasted for the evening.

On Tuesday, May 2nd, the NWS predicts showers likely, mainly between 9am and 3pm, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 56 degrees. Southwest winds between 9 to 11 mph are expected, with a 70% chance of precipitation.

Tuesday night, there’s a chance of showers before 9pm, followed by a slight chance of showers after 3am. The skies will remain mostly cloudy, with a low around 43 degrees. West winds between 7 to 10 mph are forecasted, with a 50% chance of precipitation.
