Winning Powerball ticket sold in Queens still unclaimed

NEW YORK – The New York Lottery reported a third prize-winning ticket in this weekend’s Powerball drawing was sold in Jamaica, Queens

The lucky ticket is worth $50,000 and features four matching numbers and the Powerball. The winning ticket was sold at Farmers Petroleum LLC, at 144-31 Farmers Boulevard.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game on April 29 are 16-53-54-57-65, with the Powerball number being 8. Players who wish to verify their ticket can check it safely through the New York Lottery app.

Powerball game draws numbers from a field of one to 69, while the Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is shown every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m.

All draw game tickets are only valid for one year from the date of the drawing.
