Lancaster police investigating fatal shooting

LANCASTER, PA – On Monday, Lancaster City Bureau of Police were dispatched to the first block of W. New St. for a reported shooting.

Officers arrived on the scene and found an unresponsive adult male who appeared to have been shot. The scene was secured, and Emergency Medical Services arrived to assist.

The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment but did not survive his injuries.

Lancaster City Bureau of Police Detectives are actively working on this investigation and urge anyone with information related to this incident to call 717-735-3301.
