64-year-old charged for bringing gun into medical center

ANNAPOLIS, MD – On Tuesday, officers responded to Anne Arundel Medical Center for a firearms violation and trespassing incident involving 64-year-old Glenn Anthony Atkins. Security at the medical center confiscated two firearms from Atkins, who had been arrested at the location the previous day.

According to security personnel, Atkins had allegedly told them that he was at the medical center to shoot another member of their security detail. No shots were fired during the incident, and no injuries were reported. Atkins was arrested and charged accordingly.
