T-Mobile murder suspect arrested

BALTIMORE, MD – On April 30, 2023, 23-year-old Fabian Sanchez Gonzalez was fatally shot while working at the T-Mobile store in the 2500 block of Boston Street. Gonzalez was shot during a robbery that turned deadly.

Despite the efforts of medical staff at Johns Hopkins at Bayview, Gonzalez passed away two days later. Southeast district shooting detectives quickly identified two suspects and turned the investigation over to homicide detectives.

Following an arrest warrant issued by detectives, members of the Warrant Task Force arrested 18-year-old Arthur McCaden in the 5200 block of St. Charles Avenue.

The arrest was made without incident, and McCaden was transported to the Homicide Section at Police Headquarters, and then to Central Booking where he is being booked and charged.
