Baltimore County Police investigate fatal shooting near Route 702 and Marlyn Avenue

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore County homicide detectives are currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Friday, in the vicinity of Route 702 and Marlyn Avenue 21221.

The shooting occurred at approximately 4:58 pm when officers responded to the area for reports of a shooting. Upon arriving at the location, officers discovered an adult victim who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. Homicide detectives are currently seeking any information about the incident and are urging anyone with knowledge of the crime to come forward.
