Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Dollar Tree Burglary

SILVER SPRING, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department is investigating a commercial burglary of the Dollar Tree store in the 13800 block of Outlet Drive in Silver Spring that occurred on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Detectives have released surveillance video of the female suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying her.

At approximately 9:07 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location for the report of a commercial burglary that had just occurred. The suspect forced entry into the store, vandalized property and merchandise, and left the scene on a razor kick scooter. The suspect is described as a female with long dark hair, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black leggings, and red shoes.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
