D.C. Metro Police on the hunt for suspect in Southeast shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s detectives are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying and locating a suspect linked to a Saturday night shooting at the 2400 block of Shannon Place in Southeast, D.C.

One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and shot the victim during a verbal altercation at the listed location around shortly before 11 pm. The suspects then fled the scene, leaving the victim with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was later taken to an area hospital for treatment.
